APA were appointed as Retained Surveyors for a multi-occupancy residential development located in Chelsea. The two interlinked eight storey buildings were constructed in the late 1960s and contain a total of 50 flats, along with access to an underground car park. The building adjoins a large commercial retail centre which shares part of the underground car park.
As part of our commission, APA were initially commissioned to undertake a 10-year Planned Maintenance Programme in relation to the external building fabric and internal communal areas of the development. This included working alongside the client’s appointed M&E consultants to develop a comprehensive maintenance strategy.
Further to this, APA were subsequently instructed to undertake a Reinstatement Cost Assessment for insurance purposes of the development.
