APA were appointed to undertake a schedule of condition prior to a flat refurbishment being undertaken. The purpose was to record the current condition of localised adjacent areas and contractor access routes in the event of a dispute occurring over damage.
The Victorian building comprises of eight flats. APA were required to complete the localised Schedule of Condition within three of the eight flats which shared a party structure with the flat where works were proposed. It also included localised common and external areas.
Following completion of the works APA will sign-off the Schedule of Condition which will contribute to the licence for alterations sign-off process (which is also being managed by APA).
