We were initially appointed as Adjoining Owner’s (AO) Surveyor on behalf of the Freeholder in connection with a proposed development consisting of constructing six new two storey residential properties on land adjacent to our freehold client’s site in Bristol.
We were subsequently appointed as the Adjoining Owner’s Surveyor on behalf of a further 12 leaseholders within the building. Furthermore, as the Building Owner’s development involved multiple companies, we were required to enter into three separate party wall agreements with each of the companies, resulting in a total of 28no. awards.
We coordinated access and undertook a joint inspection with the Building Owner’s Surveyor to record the schedules of condition for the affected areas, agreed and published the awards allowing the development to proceed whilst ensuring our appointing owners interests were safeguarded.
