APA were appointed to undertake a 10-year planned maintenance programme for this residential development located in Battersea. The property located on Prince of Wales Drive, London, SW11, is a purpose-built residential building, containing a total of 86 flats, contained within a total of five separate blocks, each with their own main communal entrances.
As part of our commission APA were commissioned to undertake a 10-year Planned Maintenance Programme in relation to the external building fabric and internal communal areas of the development, and undertook extensive discussions with the Client and property managers to formulate a delivery programme within their financial constraints.
The property originally formed part of a development of five separate residential blocks that were built following purchase of the vacant land by the developer Cyril Flower in the 1890’s. Construction for this block commenced on 26th April 1894, with all of the other aforementioned blocks were commenced within a short period of time either side of this date, between late 1893 and late 1894.
